Digital Photography
Digital photography has taken over and is now the most used technology when it comes to taking pictures both for leisure as well as for professional purposes. It uses an array of sensitive light sensors so as to capture images within range. Immediately the image is captured, it is stored as a file which is ready for processing. A while back, they made photographs by exposing photographic films which are light sensitive and using chemical processing so as to stabilize and develop the image. Digital photographs are much better since they can be printed, displayed, manipulated, stored, archived and transmitted by the use of computer techniques without any chemical processing.

Digital photography has thus made work a lot easier and furthermore, the images produced by these photographers are of extremely high quality. With digital cameras, an image appears brighter, more colorful and the key features are emphasized. Commercial photographers have used digital photography and the work they produce is amazing. However, it is very cheap to maintain since one doesn't have to spend so much money on processing and developing photographs. Moreover, photographers also prefer the digital option because there are so many editing options available on computers.

With digital photography, one gets to view pictures instantly as opposed to having to wait for them to be developed. Moreover, if one has a computer, storage of the pictures then becomes so easy and it is permanent. Furthermore, one doesn't have to scan the pictures before checking them out on the computer. With digital cameras, one can store hundreds of pictures depending on the size of the memory card in use. Additionally, another great advantage of digital photography is that people can use these cameras to take both still pictures and videos. Therefore, with digital photography, one can never go wrong, and these cameras have become very cheap so almost anybody can afford.
